Assos DYORA RS Winter Cycling Jacket

The aim of the Assos design team has been to create a winter jacket that 'activates' when you're training and racing at higher intensities. It harmoniously balances insulation and temperature regulation, keeping you perfectly comfortable on all-day endurance rides through to short and intense interval sessions.

Engineered Excellence
Its incredible performance is made possible thanks to the development of a lightweight softshell material called SPHERE. Replacing Assos' renowned Stratagon, it offers waterproof and flexibility with outstanding moisture control perfectly suited to cycling hard.
Inside, across the chest are several thin layers of this SPHERE. This not only protects the chest from cold it's also quick to move sweat off the skin so you don't feel a chill. To the outside, 3-Layer SPHERE light provides a windproof and water-resistant barrier as you face into the weather. A thicker and more insulating version of the same 3-layer material is used across the upper back and forearms for added warmth.
To boost climate control, Assos have deployed their Diffusor “valves” at the shoulders, allowing air inside to prevent overheating. Moving to the back, OSMOS Heavy is the most insulating of Assos' brushed-backed materials. And the jacket’s built-in mid-layer is made with lighter, more breathable OSMOS Light while the upper arms are wrapped in windproof warp-knit 3L ZigZaggy Foam.

Assos Layering System
The DYORA RS Winter Cycling Jacket forms part of a cycling layering system, engineered to work beautifully together. For most winter conditions it works perfectly as a stand-alone winter jacket. However, for extremely harsh conditions use it with an Assos Thermobooster Mid Layer for added insulation.
